After earning her Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies with concentrations in Sociology and Business from the University of Texas at Dallas, she attended South Texas College of Law in Houston, where she earned her Juris Doctor. After graduation, she worked in immigration law as a law clerk with the Law Office of Juan Reyes (now Reyes Blum, PLLC) in Houston in 2022.

After being admitted to the Texas State Bar in 2023, she practiced as an immigration attorney with the same firm. At the end of 2024, she moved to the Seattle area and continued practicing immigration law in Washington.

She practices law with a healthy balance of optimism and practicality. She seeks the best outcome for each client and strives for it while understanding the limits of the law and each client's situation. Her approach is one of consideration and devotion. She knows how important each case is to her clients and always devotes her skills and energy to every one.

She entered immigration law because she has always believed that in a land settled by immigrants, all immigrants should be welcome. As the granddaughter of Mexican immigrants, she knows most people in this nation would not be here without immigrants, and she believes everyone deserves a real chance to realize the American Dream.

When she is not at work, she enjoys baking and crocheting in her living room with her dog, Bacon Pancake, on her lap and her cat, Sylvia, perched behind her on the couch. On Sundays, she sings in the choir at her church.
